The New Susing's Guitar is now owned and operated by Lucresio Valiente, the son of Juanito Valiente Sr, the merchant and craftsman who started making guitars in 1949.

The New Susing's Guitar has represented the country, as commissioned by the Department of Tourism, in various international expos---Hong Kong in 1978, Japan in 1983 and in Singapore in 1992. Aside from meeting the high demand of tourist who visit Cebu, it exports ukuleles to Hawaii and guitars to England.
